The Temple of the American Dream represents a lasting contribution to the revitalization of a historic neighborhood in Detroit. We need your help to make to keep the temple strong in the future and to build on our success with new projects.

Donations to the Detroit Dream Project

Financial Support

We raised $30,000 dollars to create the Temple to the American Dream and the surrounding Peace Park landscaping.  Our fundraising included a $15,000 challenge grant from The Black Rock Arts Foundation which we matched with your support — thank you!

We are not done!

Now we need to fund the on-going maintenance and upkeep of the Temple as well as raise the funds for our next projects. To deepen our investments in Detroit we are currently searching for a “home base” in the Brightmoor / Old Redford neighborhood for SPARC. This home base will give us the opportunity to throw open the doors to more building and more art — bus stops, solar powered LED street lights, art cars, art parades, kids workshops — all of these are on our radar screen. Help us build on our success and continue building the Detroit Dream!
